Before You Start
Decide the amount you are willing to spend before you begin, and treat that amount as already spent the moment you commit it. This removes the temptation to keep adjusting your budget mid-session. If a loss occurs, resist the urge to chase it with a bigger stake: chasing losses is how a fixed, affordable budget turns into an unplanned one. Never gamble with money that is borrowed or set aside for bills, rent or other commitments, and take regular breaks so that a session stays a form of entertainment rather than something that runs on for hours unnoticed. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, involve someone else early, such as a partner, friend or one of the organisations listed below, rather than waiting until the situation feels harder to talk about.
Help Organisations
Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gamblinghelpline.co.nz, gamblingtherapy.org and pgf.nz. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow, and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.
Where Controls Actually Live
Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an account held with an operator. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it, so nothing published here can switch such a control on, check whether one is active, or enforce one. Nobody's age is verified on this site, and no gambling takes place on it; any age check happens at the destination a reader is redirected to. This site also carries no advertising or behavioural profiling network, so nothing on these pages is targeted at a reader based on prior behaviour.
Operator Listings
- Each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.
- The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing.
- Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site: each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.
Reading These Listings
Because every action with real money takes place away from this site, any control you want in place, whether that is a spending limit, a time-based break, or a longer self-exclusion, needs to be set up inside the account you hold at that destination. This page does not track whether you have done so, and cannot check it on your behalf.
